About 30 years ago, in the mid to late 90s, the small industrial city of Bethlehem, PA somehow became the epicenter of the BMX world. There was an amazing amount of homegrown talent in the area, and with the rapid evolution of trail riding at Posh Woods, riders from all over the country, and even the world, were drawn to the Christmas City.
It was one hell of a time...
To commemorate that era of BMX and brotherhood I had the idea for this special edition t-shirt, inspired by the original Superdome shirt I made back in the summer of '96.
I want to send out a big thanks to everyone from that scene who helped jog my memory and helped contribute to the "word cloud." (Except for Price because he hardly remembers anything!)
Lastly, 100% of net proceeds from the sale of these shirts will be divided between the Christian's Spring Art Initiative (30% for improvements at my homestead that has multiple resident art and music studios in Nazareth, PA) and the Posh Woods Project (which shall receive 70% of the monies raised) so they can continue promoting the sport of BMX in the Lehigh Valley.
Cheers,
Fredbo
